Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the milk and heavy cream.
- Heat over medium-low heat until warm but not boiling.
- Add the chopped white chocolate and whisk continuously until completely melted and smooth.
- Stir in the peppermint extract, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Continue heating for 1 to 2 minutes until fully combined.
- Remove from heat and carefully pour into serving mugs.
- Top with whipped cream, crushed candy canes, marshmallows, or white chocolate shavings.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
Do not allow the mixture to boil, as white chocolate can separate when overheated.
Start with less peppermint extract if you prefer a milder mint flavor.
Use high-quality white chocolate for the best flavor and texture.
For extra richness, replace one cup of milk with half-and-half.
