  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 10 ounces white chocolate finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the milk and heavy cream.
  2. Heat over medium-low heat until warm but not boiling.
  3. Add the chopped white chocolate and whisk continuously until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Stir in the peppermint extract, vanilla extract, and salt.
  5. Continue heating for 1 to 2 minutes until fully combined.
  6. Remove from heat and carefully pour into serving mugs.
  7. Top with whipped cream, crushed candy canes, marshmallows, or white chocolate shavings.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Do not allow the mixture to boil, as white chocolate can separate when overheated.
Start with less peppermint extract if you prefer a milder mint flavor.
Use high-quality white chocolate for the best flavor and texture.
For extra richness, replace one cup of milk with half-and-half.
